Background
It's clear in hindsight that music would become a passion for Julius.
From a young age, he was exposed to music through daily polyphonic singing in a school choir and frequent attendance at musical theatre and concerts.
At just eight years old, he began taking piano lessons with Mat van Bree of the CKE, and later developed an interest in trance music which led him to produce his own electronic compositions.
It was his acquaintance with several media music composers that ignited Julius' passion for music composition.
He spent countless hours behind the piano and computer, resulting in many creative productions.
During his secondary schooling, he made the decision to choose music as an exam subject and to focus entirely on composing for film and other media.
